Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026 -- pending final legal review
These terms are in draft form and subject to final legal review before formal publication. The provisions below represent the intended operational framework.
1. Platform Scope
PeptideVerify operates as an independent analytical testing coordination and data transparency service. The platform coordinates third-party laboratory analysis of research compounds and publishes results in a searchable public database. PeptideVerify is not a laboratory, pharmaceutical company, manufacturer, retailer, or regulatory body.
2. Research Use Only
All platform content -- including analytical results, compound data, vendor profiles, and all derived data -- is provided for research and informational purposes only. No content on this platform constitutes or should be interpreted as a safety assessment, quality certification, endorsement, medical advice, or indication of suitability for any purpose, including human or animal use.
3. Accuracy and Limitations
Analytical results reflect specific samples tested at specific points in time. Results may not be representative of other lots, batches, or future production from the same vendor. PeptideVerify makes reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but does not warrant the completeness, currency, or fitness for purpose of any data published on the platform.
4. Submission Terms
Submitters warrant that samples are designated for research purposes only and that submission is not intended to facilitate human or animal consumption. Submitters acknowledge that results will be published in the public database upon completion of moderation, including potentially unfavorable findings. Submitters may not request removal of results based on content alone.
5. Prohibited Uses
Users may not use platform data to make health claims, safety claims, endorsements, or recommendations regarding any compound or vendor. Users may not misrepresent the scope or meaning of published results. Users may not access the platform in a manner that violates applicable law, including laws governing regulated substances.
6. Corrections Policy
Any party may request a correction to a published result by identifying a specific factual error. Correction requests are evaluated against the original laboratory report. Corrections are documented transparently in the record history. Results will not be modified or removed solely because they are unfavorable to any party.
7. Intellectual Property
The PeptideVerify platform, brand, and original content are proprietary. Published analytical data is made available for research and informational purposes and may be cited with attribution. Systematic scraping or redistribution of platform data for commercial purposes requires written authorization.
8. Limitation of Liability
PeptideVerify provides the platform and its data on an as-is basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PeptideVerify disclaims all warranties and shall not be liable for any damages arising from reliance on platform data, including but not limited to decisions made on the basis of published results.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable law as determined upon final legal review. Jurisdiction and venue provisions will be specified in the final published terms.
